But this looks badass! Here's one with the body sitting where it should. Scale beer cans, now that's the schlitz! Last edited by Duxx; 12-06-2012 at 01:14 PM. |

The wider rims are what makes it. Beast mode! |

The rims look awesome, not 100% sure on the body being so high but i guess its a lot more common in the states than over here to see 1:1 vehicle set up more like that.

The wheels are a set of custom Mayhems I purchased for my Wraith. They're about 2.25" wide and with the custom foams they give the 2.2 Swampers that balloon look. I just mocked em up on my scx10 chassis with the Blazer body for fun. The truck wouldn't be very capable with those wheels but it's got me thinking about having a custom set of 1.9's made to achieve a similar look that may be more practical on the trail. Looks great! Have you tried seeing what it would look like if the body was a little lower?

Here it is sitting on 1.9's with standard 1" wheels. Might look better with a raw wheel rather than black. Not sure I like the look over the 2.2's though. The shell looks too big to me even though the wheel well would accommodate an even smaller 1.9 tire. Scale beer cans, now that's the schlitz! |

Took me awhile but I think I finally settled on the Pitbulls. Picked up some OMF's too, gun metal inner with black outer rings. Freshly painted shell from RockThrasher should be here today. Got some Mthead emblems waiting for it! Still waiting on a few parts to finish assembling the Currie axles though. Picked up a roll cage and front bumper from KrazyKrawler too that should be here next week. |

Sweet looking ride! I'm a swamper fan myself but the pits look good on there too.

It looks good with the pitbulls but the swampers look perfect for size to me that is. They look like. 35 inch tire to that body.keep up the good work . Its funny I am gearing up to use this same body but do molds of it and make a hard body , then wham lol 3 or 4 new blazer builds show up . You need to make some video of this thing Last edited by Rodamis; 03-02-2013 at 02:49 PM. |

I agree that the 2.2 swamper with wide rims look incredibly proper for that body. You had that 1 thing I always think everybody was missing when using that body. |

Lol I was talking about the 1.9 swampers the 2.2s are like a 54 inch sx and dont really scale out but im a scaler kind of guy . Those 2.2 rims are nice and wide they look great with the sx but the 1.9 are a better size for this body they can probably almost tuck in the wheel wells
