Default Goodwill shopping

Stopped by the local goodwill store the other night and found a used New Bright Land Rover LR3 for $2.00 , now i have a new body for way cheaper than i was planning. Did have to make some shorter rear links but using some traxxas 78mm turnbuckles it worked out just right.

Great body and great job! I like these bodies a lot and I'm looking for one for a long time.

I'm planning on painting it just not sure which color yet, I need to get some new scale accessories too I've lost most of my stuff along the trail this past summer. Probably do some general maintenance first my drivetrain has 2 years of driving on it the input bearings on the axles are sloppy and the dog bones up front are about paper thin now.

I took it out real quick after work, i like the way it handles with the short rear end.

I used a few pieces of styrene mounted on the top of my rear shock towers, and on the inside of the original body mounts in the land rover with velcro and a velcro strip on the fron electronics plate. I had to trim the body mounts up front on the land rover to get it to sit low and level.
