should i cut up cgr bronco body?

just trying to get some feedback. I was thinking of cutting up a cgr bronco body that i use when i run 2.2 tires, i was going to rob the interior out of it and put it in my comanche. I'm on the fench about it because their discountinued. But was thinking of getting a new body for my 2.2's anyway. Of course then i'll get asked by the wife what do you need a new body for.

I cut mine, scalped the top right off and put it under a K5 Blazer. The one thing you will have to measure is how tall the cage is under your body. On my K5 I couldn't seat the bronco CGR up under as high in as I wanted because the cage butts up to the K5 roof. And also the outside corners of the dashboard of the Bronco butt up against the cowl/windshield of the K5, it's straight and the Blazer's is curved. No big deal though.

Thanks for the response, like the blazer look with the top removed, if I cut mine I'm probably only going to use the interior and not the cage. Love the mid 80's chevy's now seeing that I'm definitely cutting mine out and getting a chevy body for my 2.2 tires. Maybe paint it up like mudtruck or beater trail truck. I measured last night and it should fit nicely.

well i did it, i chopped up my cgr bronco and stole the interior out of it. heres a pic of whats left. I have to detail it out with some paint looks pretty rough right now. i'll post a pic later after it gets detailed along with one installed. I did sheed a tear for the old bronco
