If it is truly your slipper clutch, tighten it down. That should prevent it from slipping. I had this issue with my Wraith earlier this year.

Just remember, those bigger wheels require more tourque to turn them, so after you stop the slipper from doing it's job, you will most likely find out what is the weakest link of your drive train. Although the Axial drivetrain is pretty tough, i still has it's weak links; mostly the plastic parts.

You may want to consider ugrading with the following:

MIP Driveshafts
Robinson Racing Hardened Steel Transmission Gears
Some kind of steel locker (Hot Racing makes a good one for a decent price)
Front CVD's if you are running dog bones.

just crank that sucker down really tight - some people even choose to glue it or remove it -- but remember you risk breaking something else if you do this, which is why the slipper can be a good thing as a weak link.

i would suggest you watch the temps of your motor. when i upped my tires just to 1.9 baja claws, i noticed a significant amount of stress on the stock 27t motor and almost burned it up when doing the low-speed stuff - whereas general trail driving was all good. you may need a couple different pinion gears and possibly another motor (like a 35t) to play around with the gearing to get it where you need it for whatever type of driving you'll be doing - it'll be under $50 for all that and a pretty good thing to keep around in your kit for tuning.

good luck and thanks for your service!
