Thanks for the reply, the bumper lift helped a lot, and was one of the cheapest things to do. $5 small sheet of aluminum from the hardware store. cut drill paint done |

| Re: -Honcho Progress and Upgrades- Long overdue update - Bobbed the bed, and removed the spare tire - Proline Scaler Shocks - TSC Toolbox - Countersunk the bead-locks, and used old Proline hardware for a clean smooth finish. - Now using the CI hard inner foam with PL memory foam outer. This is the best foam setup i have found by far. - Raised rock sliders - Countersank bumper screws, got tired of them snagging on everything. - Moved winch batter to the side of the torque twist. it helped reduce it even more. - Overdrive and Underdrive gears installed. - Made steering links (finally) MORE PICS Bed Bobbed Toolbox PL Shocks Drilled a hole up through the toolbox so i could Mount it for good Steering links and the countersunk bumper screws Countersunk Beadlocks New spot for the winch battery Heres Some more Pics all at Disney, OK Let me know what you think Last edited by e_w_b; 03-10-2013 at 08:08 PM. |

Very nice. I bet that HH 27T moves pretty good on 7-cell eh? But I bet those Pro Line shocks would thank you if you switched to a lighter Lipo pack, lol.

------Rock Beast!------ Had these for a while but took some time to find the right foam setup. Using 2.2 mem foam outer, and Dremel down the CI inners that i bought with them. This is just my personal preference for the conditions i usually drive on, and so it will fit with the proline Wheel weights. Front tires squat down about right Last edited by e_w_b; 02-13-2013 at 09:45 PM. Reason: change text |

Oh yeah, I remember when someone at our track showed up and said that they had just bought a 2000mah pack . I was running worn out, hand me down 1400mah packs and I was a way better racer back then simply because I had to get WAAYYY out in front so that I could still limp in to a decent finish when my battery started dumping 3 min. into the race. Now I moan and complane when the cut off hits after 15 min. of track practice and the battery in my honcho lasts 2 1/2 hours of steady crawling.

I love the bobbed bed. Looks great. I liked it better with the tsl-sx though, they looked great with the beadlocks.

Me too Thats the way im running now and thats the way it will stay. After many test with different tires the tsl/sx will get up lines that NONE of the other tires will get. Due to the fact that they make the rig sit a little lower, but not to take anything away from the tsl. Gets the best grip in my opinion.

-------Another Update------- Not to much on this one. - Sanded and repainted front fenders - Went back to TSL/SX they work best for extreme steep climbs. - Moved lights up under the front - Made plastic battery plate for winch battery Thats about it, just going to say the way you see it here is the best setup i have had yet. I have had a lot of drive time with the over/under gears on both tires, and it will make it up lines with the TSL no other tires can touch. Rock lights Battery plate I think its safe to say they are broke in |
