Default Integy Pro Lathe 45T vs 35T ..?

What's the wheel speed difference? Noticeable? Torque loss/gain? My rigs geared 14T/87T with front OD, and at 9lbs 6oz I wanna know would it be worth it on a 2s 40c 4000mah lipo?

The 35t will do you good, getting 2- 2000mah batteries will do you good as well.. or just try a couple 3s first before the motor change? Ur 45t on 3s will be like a 35t on 2s. then throw a 3s in that once.. weeeeee! I run a 35t in mine with a 15-16 tooth pinion.. tons of torque an great wheel speed... For the poker dash runs an g6's an just when out for a trail run, I throw a 4s in it.. What a blast! You won't notice any loss from 45t to 35t but you will notice gain.. that an you will have a lot more fun on th trail..

Well I'm running a losi msc12 esc 2s max with lipo cutoff it's a great esc for what I do, the nearest comps are 4 1/2hrs away so we just trail and rock ride but mostly trail, I'm running the 45t now because it was $10 lol an it's certainly a step up from my Novak 55t but I want a little more ooomf! in my rig for those steep grades and just to have some fun in the mud without bogging down ill be sticking with 2s because I own 7-9 batteries because my shortcourse truck lol so that'll be my bread an buttah for a while just wanted to know what I would lose or gain dropping 10t in a motor,

Anyone else wanna chime in?

i had a tekin 35t in my last rig and it was a beast on 2s. my boys are both running 35t lathe motors and they work well for trailing and crawling on 2s

the integy 35 turn has awsome wheel speed and torq plus you can adjust the timing and over haul it. the terra claw is a run and toss motor.

Lol for $15 it's worth a month of running

And I really wanna go 35t now ill just keep my 45t on the back burner as a spare, what's a good gearing for a 9lb rig? Should I keep the 14T/87T..? Or go 16T/87T..?

I ran the 35 turn integy motor in my scx for a year before it needed to be rebuilt! 2s was good, but 3s was even better! Plenty of wheel speed and torque! Great motor for the price
