Default Hard Top 2012 Rubicon

Well just for shits n' giggles I decided to see if a New Bright JK hard top would fit my New Axial JK. Well with some quick fitting it looks awesome. Still needs mild adjustment but will fit great. Test fit pictures.

I definitely have some minor mod work to do but the roof fits almost perfect. Will take more pictures of the work involved but it should come out better then expected.

I like that it fits, but...why wouldn't you just use the New Bright body that the roof came with?

Either way, it looks great and the rampage bumper is boss...

Heres an update. I notched the body where the pins of the roof go into the NB jk and it fits pretty darn good. And still removable and i can keep the small driver cover on as well.

Got it cleaned up some on lengths and crap. Roof looks awesome in person. Made windows for the rear window spots and added decals to see there ame windows. Looks good IMO.

Thanks. I'm really liking how it came out. Now to start making upper and lower links. Already did the steering links and added solid knuckles.... need to order c-hubs and universals for better steering. Jeep is coming along nicely. So far I have done the roof mod, added rampage front and rear JK bumpers, RC4WD wireless winch, d-rings, driver and some more goodies that are on the way.

Oh yeah.... Rockem Sockem Robots for Christmas. Old School.

Old school indeed! Which cv's you looking at if you don't mind me asking? I've heard axials are weak and break pins a lot.

Might look into a set for my tuber if they aren't too expensive. I'd like to get a few more degrees of turning.

The bumper looks great too, def sets off the front of the new body jeep. I'm honestly not a huge jeep fan, but I have a classic Cherokee body and these new body's are slick. Keep up the good work dude!

If you want a ton of steering for not a ton of cash look into the xr10 steering mod.

the hard top looks great on there.

it would take some work but with the cage being slanted in the back. turning the top into a fastback be slick.

I would love to do an angled back roof like that but I know 100% I'm not capable of doing it. Still think it's turning out well with very little work.

Put on GearHead 2.2s and Swampers as well as a full light kit. The Black Chevy is my other SCX10. Fully loaded.... Vanquish everything.

Those 2.2's look awesome. Think you have convinced me to put on a set soon.
Great job on the top.

Thanks for the compliments on the rig. Here are some more pics. Today was its first trail run and it did awesome. Love the 2.2 Swampers.

Also replaced the stock shocks with GMade Piggy backs up front and GMade Areation shocks in the back.
