Are waterproof with the exception of the receiver box correct?

No, the ESC isn't waterproof, the receiver isn't waterproof, but it's in a splash resistant box, and I think that you can put any brushed motor in water.

Speaking from experience - the ESC is not. Get some liquid electrical tape and problem is solved.

I have had no issues with running a AE2 ESC TOTALLY submegered right out of the box. No idea on the new servo, and the RX box definitely needs sealed.
