Default 1.9 Superswampers are slightly taller than 2.2 Flat Irons

When I bought the 1.9 Super Swampers it was to get the extra ground clearance.

Now I've gone to 2.2's with Flat Irons they're slightly smaller but look fantastic - definitely wouldn't have it any higher and I think I'll be dropping the suspension at least 10mm now.

Okay, after seeing your wheel post and now this I'm getting more confused. I'm going to be building a rig for a friend of mine and I'm not really into crawlers too much (yet) so I'm still trying to get ahold of the 1.9, 2.2 thing.. I thought a 2.2 tire would "always" be taller than a 1.9. The guy has pitbull rockers on his 1:1 so that's what he wants on his scaler and the height difference seems huge from 1.9 to 2.2. What is the measured height of those 2 tires?

They're roughly 120mm tall.

2.2 Flat Irons are on the short side... perhaps the shortest 2.2 tire.

For your friends rig, 1.9 Pitbulls look great on most scale bodies.
