| front motor and t case conversion kit ??????
ok ive been searching, and kinda keep getting the same thing popping up, the GMC, or is it GCM machining out of canida makes a kit that mounts the motor and and trans in the front and provides a t case, my question is, is there some where else that has a kit, or those of you that have done this conversion could list up some parts that you have used to do this same thing. any help or pointing me in the right direction would be loved!! im not retarded ( on paper or reconized by the state of utah) but i just need to be educated on the right direction to go this swap..... i just dont want to order somthing off the internet and return it. thanks for reading louie |

They're sold out but you can figure out what parts you will need. top right in blue font here GCM Racing WebStore-2012 - SCX Mounts Combo Kit is a pretty good video explaining and showing the install. The kit also relocates the servo. |

Gcm is the way to go. I have a cross canyon chassis as well as the scx10 gcm conversion kit. Both are high quality and well thought out.

Probly off topic but if you used that trans set up. Do you think you could use a dig trans and use the out put shaft that's not being used and make some sort of pto style winch? That would be pretty powerful and creative.

I need it because I only run in dust and sand - having the motor up front and high inside my inner fender wells would be the cleanest place it could be.

I too have been looking into the GCM stuff for SCX10s. I'm thinking about buying their transfer case, but I may make my own mount for the motor and the servo. It can't be THAT hard.... 2 weeks from now I will change my mind |
