Default New Bronco

Howdy

Wanted to share a couple of pics of my Bronco build.

Still have plenty more to do - but have my new build to the point of showing a couple pictures of how it is coming along. The body isnt mounted yet either - just mocked for the pics.

Built the base part by part buying each piece from the classifieds here - so was a fun build! Other parts i built out of styrene (battery tray relocated down low and toward the front).

Still waiting on some stuff - including some most excellent scale logos from mthead

Let me know what you think -

Thanks for looking!

Thanks!
I have more planned for sure - maybe should post up some of the build pics too.
Should have the mounts finished up tonight - not going to drill the body, like the clean look of not having posts sticking out.

I finished up the body mounts. I made the mounts out of styrene, then used nice quality velcro for the body to the mounts. Holds pretty strong, and there isnt any body posts sticking out!

The mounts are removable with pins, so I can quickly switch out the body to a standard honcho or whatever other body I get for this chassis.

Also in the pics are a little bit better view of the battery tray I built - added some rubber strips to help keep the battery from moving as much, as well as help with abrasion on the battery as well as the mount.

Will hopefully get out and drive it a bit outside today - still much to do but its coming along!

Next up is to try and find some good bumpers - any suggestions anyone?
Thanks!
