scx10 problems

I have my two older scx10s with the ae1 esc and the old am radio that came with them and it has a cogging to it when just barily going, is that the radio or esc, not any binding I know for sure, or what else could be the problem

To broad of a discription. Please tell us more about what motor, battery, you're using. I'd first take esc out and try a different one.... Then I'd swap motors. What kinda battery are you running? Not enough voltage will cause cogging at low end speeds. But some motors are just prone to cogging?

its all stock and has the 27 turn motor that all 3 of mine have and I know its not the battery cuz I use it through all of mine rc cars, my newest scx has the ae3 so ill try to put that in the old in and try it to see if the problem stays through the esc, was this common with the original scx's

sounds to me like your motor might be getting ready to go out
