Looks awesome, I really dig the hard body Hilux bodies from Tamiya and RC4WD. Looks sweet man! |

| Re: Finished most of my build... Time for a rundown. SCX10/Hilux I do plan on changing the wheels/tires up. I do know that I want a beadlock wheel and maybe swampers, iroks, or pitbulls. But my wheel choice is still up in the air. I still want to have a spare. I dont want the "wagon wheel" because everybody is rocking those. Any suggestions guys? They need to be hex mount. Hi tommyargh Would you mind sharing which mods (updated) you added. I just bought Honcho today and want to add nice links, possibly 4 bar link setup but Im not sure wha I need and what sizes should I get. Same with suspension, I'd like a bit more travel so it's more crawl-capable. Am I asking too much? Any info appreciated. Thanx a bunhc. Awesome Yota there! :-) |

Its been a while since Ive updated this thread. Truck has been doing great and its withstanding all the abuse Ive thrown at all. So far the only broken parts has been the fairlead for the winch and the bed rack is busted and bent up from to many rollovers. Instead of fixing it I decided to go a different route since I was getting bored with the setup. Ive been looking into real 1:1 Four Wheel Campers pop-ups. They are really awesome for the overlander. So I decided to replicate one for my scale rig. Ive got a few more details to finish up. and thinking about building a rear bumper with two swingouts. One for the spare tire and one for the Gerry cans, hi lift, shovel, and axe. Let me know what you think! Winter River Crossing at my new favorite spot The "new" look Thanks for looking! |
