Default First thread here, new to me SCX-10 fun!!
Well I picked this thing up locally, and I really don't know much about it. It was in pretty rough shape when I got it, and I've been doing improvements to it as things break or limit me.

I believe the truck started as an older honcho RTR. The previous owner 4 linked the rear, put an XL5 WP esc in it, axial aluminum steering links, axial aluminum C hubs & knuckles, and installed integy lower links and center skid/link mount.

I did the tranny mirror/flip mod, RRP tranny gears, WB8 driveshafts, take off honcho 1.9 ripsaws, Blazer K5 body, traxxas WP rx box, WP axles, Titan 550 12t, installed Dingo bumper, and a few other little things.

Enough talking, heres some pics I just took. I love being able to drive under water.

Welcome to your new money pit. Go ahead and start selling things you no longer use so you can buy more RC stuff in the future. That's the best advice I can give you, because this hobby is addictive and expensive!

Hey cinnabun like the build so far gotta love the k5 blazer body. Just wondered how well the 12 turn crawls was thinking of putting one in mine for bashing and general trail use, let me know how it does. What gearing do you use and does it get hot crawling?
