Default steering problem

hello this is my first post, i have an axial scx-10 jeep rubicon edition, and im seeming to have this odd problem with the steering that i cant seem to fix, it will just randomly turn to the left and stay there, and most of the time if i try to turn it right when its stuck like that it will just still stay there, what could be the problem with it? heres a video i made to show you people

I had a similar problem with my as2 servo. Did you by any chance drive through water? Try pluggimg the servo wire into channel 2 and the esc into channel 1 (flipped) and see if it's the servo or the reciever.

WAIT! If you do the plug swap to see if it's the reciever, don't bother plugging the ESC into channel 1! If channel 1 is faulty, when you turn on the truck it will spin the wheels at full power. Just check to see if the servo works in channel 2.

Fordrox is right though, it does sound like a moisture/water problem

It's the reciever had the same issue with one of my rigs that's what happens when you don't water proof it.

if you don't want to spend $400 on a new remote... get this:FlySky FS-GT3B Digital 3ch 2.4ghz TX & RX LCD Transmitter & Receiver
Then you can get this ( it's from losikid):Products - OverkillRC
Or you could get it Prehacked:Products - OverkillRC

Read through this thread before you drive it in the snow or water:Water Proofing Electronics

And if it wasn't said already balloon your receiver.

If you'venever taken it outside, try axial customer service. They are so great there, and have helped me quite a few times with stuff like this. If it is very evident that it has never been wet, they may replace it for you

Before you send it off or give up on it try to start over.

1st. Try to rebind the radio and receiver
2nd. ReCalibrate ESC and Radio
3rd. Put the receiver in a bowl of rice over night. It will pull any moisture from the receiver and should help if it is a moisture issue. Good luck

You are focusing on the wrong parts. It is your servo horn. It is stripped. My stock one did that all the time. It would drive fine and then be stuck I a position.

Its definitely not a servo horn being that it worked perfect when the servo plug was plugged into the 2nd channel slot on the receiver. Its definitely a moisture or water issue. This is one good reason to have backup electronics like receivers to try when you have an issue. Its easier to narrow down the problem.

I would definitely say try to re-bind, re-calibrate, and if no fix is found put your servo and receiver in a bowl of rice over night.
