| 4 link front setup - missing bolt?
Hi all I just added 2 links to front suspension on my Honcho and removed the 'Y' link of course. The thing is, since I have now 2 links where originally used to be single link from 'Y' - at the very front of the truck - it seems I need a longish bolt to secure link ends, but no bolts arrived in 'extra parts' bags. Is that something I should go and buy? Many thanks guys, sorry I;m new to this. Cheers |

I'm in same situation now, can't find the bolt. Why is the fourlink not the standard configuration? All the parts are included, (exept the bolt), what is the reason for the threelink-choice?? |

| Re: 4 link front setup - missing bolt? I just converted to aluminum links on my JK. The axial manual states a M3x30MM part number AXA121. The top links now bottom out on my receiver box when you compress the front suspension on both sides. It does not bottom out when you only compress one side or the other so you will still get full articulation with stock shocks. I don't know if that is the reason for the 3-link in the front, but just some information.

Well this is f***ed!!! I just went to the biggest hardware store and they didn't have bolt like this. Arghhhh!!! The thing is, it's supposed to be thinner than 3mm. According to my measurement it's more like 2.5mm x 30mm. I bought the 3mm one but it was too thick, and too short in this case. COME ON AXIAL!!! |

hey mate, just done this with the new rubicon, what you need is to go to a hardware store and ask for an M3 nut and bolt approx 25-30mm long, that's what worked for me. the bolt is not supposed to be included in the spare parts bag. i got mine from Masters here in Cairns |

Masters ay. Sweet. Thanks mate, much appreciated. It's just that they included links and truss in spare/upgrade parts bag but no $0.30 screw - that's what bugged me. I'll go to Masters tomorrow. Cheers mate |

I just find a bag with three bolts, M3 30 mm, the should be used for the optional battery mount, if you don't use them for this, you have a bolt for the fourlink.

igz, If you got to Masters, you'll find that the bolt isn't on display, but in drawers underneath where the bigger bolts are hanging. The good thing about masters is that they have pictures and sizes printed on each of the drawers. Just for note, in this section they have springs too if you wanna go back some day and change your shock and springs for internal droop |

Sweet. Much appreciated info. Klaaz, I most definitely did not get the bolts. Not a single one. I went through the bags like 4 times. That's ok. I'll get it soon. |

I got some screws and bolts from a local elec. store. Now, front suspension can't compress all the way freely because links are hitting the ESC box. Any ideas how to raise it? Cheers |

The ESC or the radio box? My RTR honcho just had the ESC double-sided taped to the radio box, so I just pulled it off and taped back on a bit higher.
