right now the honcho Im working on has the stock servo in it, and I have yet to run it, so Im not sure how well it even does, but Im assuming that Im going to want to upgrade it at some point.

Im just wondering what yall are using for servos in your scx10 on 1.9 tires.

also, would I need a stronger servo if I were to go with a chassis mounted servo, or doesn't that really make much of a difference?

I was looking at this servo I found on rc4wd, and like the specs and the fact its waterproof, but Im unsure about the brand, any good?

i have used the traxxas 2075 waterproof servo and have had good luck with it

A lot guys use Hitec servos. I use them too. 645 is supposed to be very reliable and you can get a waterproof version too. Plus I've heard their customer service is the best.

Hitec, savox, futuba, and yes rc4wd. I have rc4wd and savox and they have all been great. Rc4wd was about 30, And the savox are more expensive at around 40-50, depends on specs. I can't answer for the stock axial unit, I purchased kits so I've not had any experience with their servos. There is also a lot of info on here... Good luck!
