My SCX10

I pulled this from my build thread on our club site.

Well guys now that I have sold most of my comp stuff I figured a stockish scaler would keep my rc crawling alive.

I am completely new to scalers and a friend of mine has given me all the stuff for this build.

I'm starting with scx axles and tranny, and I just picked up a frame.

Some progress had been made

My new wheels and tires.

Got some of the welding done.

Now I've got to mount the body and weld up a winch bumper.

Got everything mounted up and ready to roll. Next thing is to trim the fenders. Then I still have to get new tires (Tomahawks were too short), weld up a bumper, paint it. This is gonna be one of those never finished rigs lol.

Under the hood.

Not the best picture but here it is with the trepadors.

I also put on a 20t pinion and it made a huge difference.

pitcher2103 was in town this weekend so we went out to the lake and I got to try out my new tires and they are awesome!! I'm really happy with it right now. The only thing I really need to do is get a bumper made for my winch.

Got my new shocks on and they are pretty stiff but i'm still going to test them first before I mess with them much.
