Default Double dig bolt on?

Just like the subject said... I'm considering putting a dig unit one on each side of transmission to have "atlas transfer case function"... I was wondering if Anyone have done it yet?

Any comments welcome!

I am doing this with my new C3 scaler, and using VP digs for this. there is a little shaving on the trans and dig to make it work. you also loose the upper bolt mount on the added dig.

What did you had to shave? I had to file down housing of my dna dig unit to get it to mate to my vp transmission case.
I'm thinking about going Vanquish or eritex dig if eritex is still around (haven't checked)
About your vp dig do the output shaft moves in and out of dig as you change position?
Like my dna dig does

on the VP the output does not move in and out.

here is what I shaved off.

you can see only one bolt hole lines up and you loose the upper one. but it wouldn't be hard to make a plate to catch that upper bolt hole. the hole that is off is not by much either.

What are you planning to do about a spur gear? or are you ging to use it as a transfer case?

Also rc4wd makes a version of the r2 transmission that has dig front and rear. R2 Dual DIG Tranny Black

ya, it will be used as a transfer case. I have a Dinky GR7 to run it.

I have ran about every dig out there and none have compared to the VP.

I'm new to this transfer case concept. My dna dig was OK it slip at times until i put in a rebuild kit i had sitting around. Vp dig look very sweet i think ill do the same, I find i need to extend wheelbase even with a single dig and an mip dig spline shaft too
I'm not sure how u plan on using gr7 with double dig unless u are planning on using axial trans on center skid then wouldnt the gcm front motor/trans mount for scx10 work better?
I'm just wondering how u plan to get it all work together
