Default Best 1.9 Tires?

What is the best 1.9 tire for rocks? Looking for something taller than the stock 4.3 ripsaws.

My buddy uses the 1.9 mickey thompson baja claws, and they seem to work really well. The are taller than most 1.9s, but still smaller than 2.2s.

I hear the new Trepadors from Axial work pretty well. And they're 4.6" tall.

I run the Pit Bull Rock Beast on my Honcho. Great tire for crawling.

Tough choice between the pitbulls and trepadors imo.

Pitbulls definitely. I have heard trepadors are good but I know first hand what the pitbulls can do.

Just my opinion but the 1.9 claws ( i like the look of them) can not even compare to the 1.9 Pitbulls.
I have used some 1.9 proline tsl and they work pretty well, also better then the claws in my opinion. But the pits and the prolines are shorter then the claws.

Another vote for the pitbulls. I run the two stage foams and they hook up on everything so far. The tread is self cleaning and doesn't pack up like the claws.

Love my Pitbulls, they are taller than the ripsaws by a small margin but what I also liked was that they also maintain width, if not a little wider.

The width is definitely a plus in my book. I went with a set of the Trepadors. They are great tires and noticably taller than the Ripsaws, but they actually look narrower. Pitbulls seem to have it all.

From what I've read you can't go wrong with Pitbulls, Trepadors, Iroks, or Roc Lox if you are looking for a 1.9 that's bigger than a Ripsaw. If they are going on a Dingo and you have the bumpstops out, be prepared for body trimmage.

I like the tsls. Properly weighted and with the right foams they are hard to beat.

I ran cut boggers, then switched to pit bulls, I think the cut boggers worked better, especially when the dirt was wet.
