Default Needing help ASAP

Ok I'm ordering a slew of parts today.
Scx10 honcho.

I wanting to lift it to add 2.2s and mudslingers , I'm only wanting to lift via longer shocks , but also going with shock relocation kit on the rear

Anyone have a idea of what size shocks ill need for the front and rear? I'm not even sure what size the stock shocks are .

I'm sure there is a thread for this somewhere , but I could not find it in any search..

Thanks alot.

Ok cool, but I'm also concerned when I lay the two rear shocks in with the relocation kit.

Stock are considered to be ~90mm from eye to eye so 110mm shocks should give you a good bit of lift if you are running a fully sprung setup. Mind your drive shaft angles and make sure they aren't binding at your desired height. You can increase your upper link length to maintain a good angle with more lift. To check if longer shocks will cause binding before you order you can unhook the top shock mounts and lower them about 3/4"-1" letting the axle drop and make sure your tires still spin freely. Pull the pinion off the motor when you do this.

The rear shocks will need to be a bit shorter than whatever you end up with in the front. Maybe a set of 110mm in the standard verticle layout up front and the stock shocks in the rear would work out.

I run 2.2 with slingers on SCX-10 using proline 95mm shocks and a Vanquish shock mount raiser for the axel. You get extra offset on the wheels also running hex hubs for the AX-10, depending on your wheels choice and offfset, that come into play also.

the mud slingers aren't very tall , you really wont have to lift it at all.

I order 2.2 mayhem engineering wheels with .650 off set , I think I'll try the 95 mm and wait on the shock relocation kit and go with a vp riser for now.. Thanks alot

you might only need the VP riser on the front (15$ for a set), I know I could run in the rear witout it and I even tucked my bumpers way in (redrill further holes) and it still does not interfere in the rear.
