|  What is the Dingo body based on (real life truck)
Hey guys, To my great surprise I did not find an answer to my question and yes I DID use the search function !!! So here it is : What is the Axial Dingo body based on as a real life truck ? My guess is that axial has been inspired by a real life truck commonly used as a mudder/crawler but I can pinpoint what it is. I'm trying to gather some info to get into the SCX10 bandwagon, I want a kit and god hate that Dingo body. Especially if I try to build a Scale truck and can't even refer to a real life truck. BTW. I'm going to wait for the Rubicon Kit but still would like to get an answer to my Q ! |

its avoiding copyright and licence fee's but it's a knock off Land rover defender. https://www.google.com/search?q=axia...FIPVyQHruIDoBg they changed it just enough so they wouldn't have to pay anything to land rover, but the design is so similar you can't doubt it. |

Oh well thanks a lot guys ! That dingo needs a roof IMO. I like the ''high roof'' distinctive of the Land Rovers |

I figured that's why the Wrangler kit costs $50 more. I can live without the endorsement.

I guess depending on your imagination it must either be a Defender 90, or a Mercedes G-wagon. http://bringatrailer.com/wp-content/...t_0_resize.jpg Not sure if pic works, if not, go Google for yourself. I'd really like one of those G-wagons, preferable an early diesel with diff locks. Anyone know of some decals to make the Dingo a Defender clone like there is to make a Honcho a Tacoma clone? |

Old thread I started on here but there is a pic of a defender that looks identical to a dingo This is a opinion type poll thread for is a 1.9 wraith a scaler |
