| MIP Shaft Interchangability Confusion?
Not sure where would be the best place to post this thread...? Long story short, my LHS sold me a pair of 8101 AX10/Scorpion shaft's for my Scx10 build... MIP's site show's the correct part # for the Scx10 should be the 10145 Scx10 set? Do I need to return/exchange the 8101's? To further add to my confusion, I am also collecting parts for a Wraith build, and I have read some (older/outdated?) posts mentioning the use of these 8101's for a Wraith build... the correct # according to MIP's site for a Wraith should be 11116 Wraith if I am researching correctly... What exactly are the differences? Interchangable? If it matters, I have already swapped out the Scx10 with Robinson Racing 1542 1pc gear, and I plan to do the same with the Wraith build using #1555? Are these 8101's going to work with either of my builds? I'm so confused |

the 8101 will work just fine if your rig has the 12.2 wheel base got the same ones on mine, should also be no problem with the 11.4 base. hook em up and have some fun |

As far as I know their all the same except length and the end piece and by end piece I mean the part you put on your tranny output shaft and axle input I believe the wraith has 5 mm longer ones but I could be wrong

| http://miponline.com/store/media/mip...xref-axial.pdf The wraith hubs differ in that they're longer and use the crappy m3 screw shaft. |
