I am currently putting together a scorpion that does not have one, but my Dingo does. should I leave it out or is it really worth the trouble? |

In high torque situations (like sudden throttle jumps) it can save your gears from stripping out from the sudden stress. it all has to go somewhere and without a clutch it all goes to the gears. It's like a servo saver to your drive train. so yes you can get away without one, but you make lose more gears if you put down too much power. Although my experience is very limited here. I've always had a slipper on my trucks. |
