Default Rolling resistance

Before I start looking for a problem and take my Honcho apart I thought I would ask the question. How easily should the truck move with no power applied. I have disconnected both drive shafts and the wheels move with very little resistance. With drive shafts connected the wheels will skid when pulling it. Anyone else experience this problem if it is a problem. Under the same conditions my Wraith moves very easily. Should I start looking for motor resistance or transmission drag? The truck is new (RTR) with less than one pack through it.

If you are brushless and 4pole then I think the resistance is normal.
I know my stock Wraith and stock SC10 would roll fairly easily. When i upgraded to brushless 4pole on the SC10 it didn't budge until under power. Scared me at first thinking the motor was locked, but I contacted the MFG and they explained that this was normal. Same with the 4pole motor on the wraith.

Not sure about brushed systems.

best way to tell is to remove the motor then push it. it should roll easy, with the motor connected you will get resistance.
