Default Ground up start Honcho.

Stopped by my local hobby shop to say hi and came home with a SCX10 chasssis kit, some Proline Swampers, and a roof rack with some scale tools.
Dont know which way this build is going to go, but its a start. Now off to order some goodies.

Mmmmmm, nice-@ss rigs. offroad1911, thats exactly what I did, bought a frame set and scratch built a Honcho. Way more fun that way.

Broke out the old Honcho body, cleaned up a set of axles, cant decide wether to use a Axial esc or a XL5, got out a spare DX3. Amazing how many parts you can dig up when you look around.

This thread is going to involve two rigs now, just couldnt resist a new JK kit.

Assembled the axles and shocks within a little while. Those little snap rings on the shocks are a pain in the azz.

This hobby and driving over the road are really conflicting with each other. At least I have my laptop to order parts.
Hopefully there will be some when I get home and be able to get these two trucks going.

Got a little work done today on the Honcho, but too cold to work any longer in the shop with no heat.
Built my links, but went with brake line to sleeve the all thread instead of carbon arrows like I usually use.
Mounted up some new Rok-Lox, MTHead rings on the way to dress them up.
Debating on the Level3 CMS or just building my own like on my other Honcho.

The JK will probably come together on another thread.

All links made and mounted thanks to R2J trusses.
Some new Rok Lox wrapped around stock axial wheels with MTHead rings.
RC4WD Dual spring with faux resevoirs mounted with Level3 mounts.
Tough Armor rock rails and stinger bumper.
3Racing winch.
