Smile New Dude, New Dingo VXL

Hey guys, Eric from Canada here. I am new to scale RC and rock crawling and very happy to be part of this forum. So, I got a dingo after buying a RC4WD Trailfinder 2 at the local hobby store. I put a VXL system and waterproof servo which I’ve stripped off from my Stampede. My stampede is now a roller I am happy with this kit but I gotta say that Axial needs to do a better job with their packaging because parts were in different bags and not according to the manual and it took me more time to build it than what I expected. I also bought a Proline Jeep Rubicon body for more scale realism. The dingo also features front LEDs lights. Lots of wires also. Here are some assembly pictures and the final thing.

When I had the VXL in mine that's what I said just before I plugged my battery in.

No really guys, I'll be real careful. I tested it today and it runs amazing. I have good experience with the VXL system and I learned how to apply throttle real good. I'm too broke to go buy a crawler ESC with drag brake at this moment. But I will eventually.

Be careful! it's not really a matter of full throttle, it's the sheer power and torque. If you get bound up in some roots you'll start breaking driveline parts. Other than it being a VXL SCX-10, it looks great! You may want to rethink the gearing from stock, as suggested. Hope to see you out on the trails in the York/Durham Regions, there's a ton of us around.
