Another Unlimited JK

Just sharing a new build. I've been out of the game for a few months, but have been itching to purchase one of these. Thank you Corey from RPP for the help. I immediately dug right in.
Out of the box

Installed the Gearhead Rubicon Rack w/Thule decal.


I had some older Dingo wheels, so I will be swapping those out tonight with the stockers. Plus I'm adding some wide rings! (THANK YOU MT HEAD)

I'm also going for a different paint scheme. I'll be painting the outside of the body in the next few days. The body is stripped down, and ready for some ideas.



That grill is asking for a Dinky JK setup. .....

Cant wait to get this thing out on the trails. Out of the box it looked great!

Its a blast I luv mine and just installed the dinky light kit tail lights kick my ass and arnt to great but not horrible and I also am painting outside gun metal gray.

Well its a nice color that goes with everything and I can keep the interior stock color cuz itll match better then any other colors. I have a wraith also that im gonna do the interior in candy green and black seats with the stock skins also

SO here's a few updates from the last few days. Its coming along nicely.
Painted Axial wheels

Installed w/beadlock rings.

Cut out the top, and was doing a trial install of everything. I was pleasantly surprised how well the top fit, with minor adjustments

Thule shot!


Winch installed. ( not wired up yet. Waiting on the battery)


Dug right into the painting. Came out great. Just need to play with the roof fit, and glue some tabs down.



I should get the decals and all that fun stuff on shortly.

I painted the top only with primer. Mainly because it hadnt been painted already. The lower lexan portion I scuffed and then hit with the paint. I wanted to be able to see the original silver through it as it scratched.

This weekend for sure. I've been trying to get it pretty all at once, and then run it. I've been dying for a TF2, and was actually thinking about selling this as it sits, and getting a tf.

Dont do that man! Have some fun with this for a while then grab a tf2 body & put it on there
