Default ManCave's 2012 Jeep Rubicon

Originally started as a RTR truck, ran it as a 1.9 class truck for a while, but after much debate I've turned it to a 2.2 class rig. It runs a RR geared tranny, JunFac shafts, Novak Goat2S with 18.5 BL motor, Mayhem monsters with proline sx swampers, level3 racing lift kit, aluminum shocks, Aluminum links straight rears and bent fronts, Venom 8000mah ( yes I really am ) 20c 2S lipo. Here's a few pics while I wait for my Kit version to get here along with all the goodies for it.

I have to thank Yoda for hooking me up with those wheels on a trade, but after mounting em up it is beastly and I cant wait to get em dirty to see how she hooks up with those SX's

Bigger is better right? In all seriousness, with that 8000 pack I can run raw dog for over 4 hours before I trip LV detection.

It actually saved me from having to weight the wheels and with that heavy of a stick pack up there it takes a lot for the nose to start going over. The downside is when it does roll you need to get the hell outta the way or get hit with a brick lol

I loved it when I ran it as a 1.9, pretty much never got stuck with my pitbulls, but since I ordered the kit version I can have a 1.9 and 2.2 version.

I can second this, I run a 5700 2s and I do not see any reason to weight my front wheels. And I have had people compliment me on the steep climbing ability of her. Also, I get about three hours of run time...bonus.

I've watched your last two trail videos with the JK, does very well up the steep inclines. Gives me some ideas on locations to try crawling too, terrain is similar.

Really liking this rig! I'm running a 5300 pack between my front and rear towers with weighted front wheels and I'm finding the rear wheels always want to tip.. Seeing your rig has made me want to pull some weight out the front!

With the weight of that 8k pack up front I had to take the weight out of my front tires and had to stiffen the shocks otherwise they'd bottom out very easily. Venting the rims would have been my next step but im not going to ruin a sweet set of wheels like this just for some grip.
