I just got my wrangler unlimited the other day and noticed how much the lower links flex. Was wondering if anyone knows a good place to get aluminum links.?

There's quite a few options. Many folks make their own with all-thread and brake line. Or you could go to rc4wd.com and buy each link you need, and there's always the kit from axial that has all the bits in one easy package - I would recommend rpphobby.com for that - or tcscrawlers.com - both great folks to do business with.

Make them =) or if you really want to buy some, try vanquishproducts.com or any of the numerous vendors here like blue monkey, r2j, etc etc who make links for the scx10.

I personally just get some all thread, some traxxas rod ends and cover them with some steel tubing. Cheaper and get the satisfaction of making them =)

Thanks for all the info. I wanted to make the links myself but between work and my kids just don't have time.

I just want you to know that it does not take much time to make the links and you do not need a lot of tools. The parts cost about $30.00 all together and you will end up with extras in case you bend or break one. You will learn more about your truck by making them and it can be some quality time spent with the kids while making them. My kids loved helping me with them and watching the process. I think all together I spent 3 hours fabricating the links. Here is a link to a good build thread for links...a lot of good pictures to accompany it.

R2J makes really nice stainless steel links for the SCX10. They are about the same price as the Axial aluminum link kit.
