| Scx10 scout newbie
I'm excited to report I have my first two crawlers on the way. One is an scx10 with scout cgr body. The other is the tamiya cr01 with hard top scout body. So far I've had mostly 1/8th scale. Hpi savages, losi 8ights, thunder tiger mt4 g3, traxxas erevo etc. I build real international scouts fun a hobby and once I found out proline made an ambush scout body I had to have one of each. Tough to find since they are both discontinued for several years. So I figured out th best way to get the bodies was with a crawler and the more research I did the more intrigued I became with this crawling stuff. I still have a lot to learn and I have a lot more research to do but I'm not a newbie in the rc hobby. Ay advice you guys have would be appreciated. I will be posting pics once they arrive with specs. I'm planning to make both look very realistic cosmetically. At this point I'm less interested in performance but that's bound to change. |

I have only had my scx10 for about a month now, but it has been really fun. I have barely at all rock crawled, but it didn't take much to set up a fun trail/course. A couple 2x4s as a ramp to a table is surprisingly fun. I have a 20t motor in it so it isn't very much a crawler. It is more like a trail runner or bashed.

I've always loved flat beige on an 800 scout! Are you on the binderplanet? Mine just arrived in the mail. I've removed decals and I'm going to add some details to the body... |
