scx10 advice

Hi I just won a trailing competition and I was needing advice although im rather new to the sport and i won it was still frustrating to me because my scx10 honcho turning radius sucks I was just wondering a way to improve turning radius and or if I could get rear steering on my back axle to help turn tighter. Any advice will be appreciated.

adding a 4 wheel steer will improve turning radius.
unlocking the differentials will help turning but hinder trail ability
best and most common thing people do is get high turning radius knuckles like vanquisher 8 degree knuckles. which allow the wheels to turn a whole lot further.

if it's all stock right now, start with re-doing the front steering axle. with hi-steer knuckles, CVD axles, and EPA adjustments - you can get your rig steering fairly sharp - like 4-6ft diameter. I recently upgraded my radio to adjust EPA and swapped to hi-steer knuckles so the c-hub screw doesn't hit -- reduced my steering circle by over half and is now around 5ft diameter circle (was around 10-12ft) and I dunno how I ever survived! HUGE upgrade!

Yeah I just realized that comp dosnt allow rear steer lol. Like I said relativly new. Im fixing to order some hi-steer knuckles ill be ordering cvd's as well any suggestions on a better quality brand.

You can also go with od an ud gears. They will help slow the rear down an pull the front around.

AS Mentioned, the high clearance knuckles an cvd's are a huge upgrade!

You can overdrive the front axle, and under drive the rear. I have overdrive in the front and it turns much better.
