Default Gear Head four link question.

If I'm in the wrong section for this question, my apologies, not sure where to put this question.

So I bought the Gear Head 4 link and now I'm having the problem of the servo plate not fitting, because the four link sits above the servo plate and not below it like the axial 4 link does, do I have to get a CMS kit to fix this or did I mount it wrong?

if it's on your steering axle you may have to change to CMS or extend your servo mounts with spacers so the plate clears. usually people want a 3link/panhard setup up front and something like what you bought for the rear.

I decided to try out a CMS, the level 3 RC one that's not the pan hard one was 12 bucks on sale so I bought it. You can have the servo sit below the frame or on/above the frame, two ways of mounting it.

CMS doesn't work properly without a panhard or with a triangulated 4-link setup. You'll have bump steer, and the feedback will destroy servos.

The level level3 cms comes with a panhard bar. Make sure your use it cause if not youll get a ton of bump steer

With the axial 4-link setup, you need to remove an upper link (usually the left), for the suspension to work properly with the pan hard bar.
