New scx10 rtr wont work???

Hi all, been waiting a while for my scx10 to get going after waiting for dean plugs etc, i have a gens ace battery and plug it in and the esc just blinks (red light) and no response from the car, does the balance charge plug on the battery have to plug in somewhere on the car? Also which channels should the servo, esc be in on the reciever? This has really got me stumped as to why it wont work but this is my first eletric rc car so i dont really know alot about them

Balance plug is for charging only, as for the reciever,1 to turn 2 to burn ie: 1 = steering 2 = esc is your battery fully charged, do you have any power to the steering servo.

Yeh its fully charged and no power to anything

I had a issue once where the throttle trim wasn't set and it wouldn't allow me to run the truck

Ok got it going, changed the radio and reciever to my old futaba set and away it went, must have been a faulty reciever or something

Or rx/tx might not have been bound to one another. Another thing is - on my ax2 radio there is a little chip inside that can come loose if the radio is banged against something or dropped - making things not work. Dunno about the newer ax3 radios, but maybe they have this as well?
