| My JK is near at 36.000 ft
My JK is at 36000ft and about 90 mins away. Winging its way back from San Francisco with a mate of mine. My first kit, my first scale, my first electric and my first 4x4. Always been I to 1/8 Nitro and 1/5 gas powered fan untill now but this rock climbing/crawling thing has got my attention. The amount of pre purchase and post purchase research has been rapid but very enjoyable. Almost everything was fouled by USPS after being 3 days past the delivery date. It was supposed to be delivered last Monday to my mates hotel but only arrived late Thursday afternoon. He left on Friday morning. I thought our Royal Mail here in the UK could be bad sometimes but this was a whole new level of bad. Anyway my bench is clear all my tools are laid out and I have watched the fast eddy scx10 build series and I am raring to go. Wish me luck!! |

My Dingo kit took me a month from start to run. And more time after that adding stuff on and changing things. I scoffed at RC crawlers when I first seen a comp crawler; slow and boring. Then I found scalers and 1.9/2.2 rigs. I am loving this truck so far. Dingo instructions were far from perfect. Glade to hear they spent more time on the JK instructions. Leave the tranny bolted to it and turn the skid around 180 degrees and bolt it back into the frame. This puts the spur cover forward and the motor on the right. It puts the end bell of the motor out of harms way of the front tires throwing debris into the motor and puts the weight of the motor on the right to help fight torque twist.

Nice! Check your tires tho~! I can see from here that the drives side is not directional.... Mount them all the same way it makes a big diff! Over all looking good! |

I might just buy other wheels I don't want to ruin the tires by gluing them! I cannot believe they didn't make them Beadlocs!
