| Battery placement on scx10 rubicon
I am in the process of building a scx10, and I am trying to decide where to put the battery. I thought about putting 2 smaller batteries on the rock rails in parallel to keep the CoG low. I would also use the stock battery plate to move the electronics box forward with the esc as far as I can to keep the forward ballast. Or I could mount it the traditional way. which do yall think would be better. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks |

I run a pack up front down low on a styrene plate I made, but also made plates that attatch to the rock rails and soldered up a parallel harness if I ever decide to go on a long hike. Not that I can't just carry spare packs, but it's kind of nice to have options.

Ill be honeat ive mounted on rock rails and in the back and up front and I like it up front. The extra weight holds down the front end on steep climbs and I think is the best position. Even on rocks and it give ur front more grip.
