Why? Wouldn't that restrict your flex?

It may slightly inhibit the flex it would more than likely increase stability a fair bit

There's a reason it's as easy as the push of a button to unhook the swaybar on a 1:1 JK. The stability an anti sway bar grants is for higher speed maneuvers. That said, I can't see where they would do anything but hurt crawling performance.

No need for sway bars on a scaler...

Abstract; where did you get this? I can't find. I see the Wraith kit. Is this just cut down? What about the bumper with the the sway bar mounts molded in? I don't think that is stock is it?

sway bars absolutely help, in the right application. they should always help in high speed situations, and they can also help when crawling. just look at Ultra4 cars. they need lots of travel to handle the desert sections, but all that travel would make them sloppy in the rocks. they use sway bars to keep that in check.

For those who don't think swaybars help in offroad situations see Curries Anti-Rock for how they work on a 1:1. The swaybar adds traction to the tire that is "unloaded" during flex. Works great.

i have one on the rear of mine, just ran it through the last hole on the frame and use a couple small spacers:

or you can use the JK crossmember, of course

There are no benefits except scale looks. If you want the look, make it flimsy. Or make one that just appears to be connected. A working sway bar is counter productive in low speed off-road applications. 1:1 vehicles that need articulation and high speed, usually have sway bar disconnects.

I would like to see a truck with a working sway bar, with a servo disconnect. That would be an awesome scale touch
