Default Got a question for you about a Scx10

can I make my short wheelbase SCX10 into a long wheelbase by changing the lower links, that are 6x91mm front and rear, to 6x98mm front and rear 6x106mm lower links, but how do you figure the length of the upper links,my truck has the hard pan kit,the rear is four link, cause I looked, online the frame rails, are the same, so is skid plate, so the inch difference in wheelbases must be in the different length lower links, so does the upper link length change, cause I want to make mine a long wheelbase. so any info would be great

yes you would need to lengthen your uppers also otherwise it would rotate (clock) your axle forward and give you a bad driveline angle. A lot of people (including me) run the same length links upper and lower in the rear to clock your axle up. This gives you a better driveline angle. I do not recall the exact length you need, but it is in the forums here. search how to make your own links and it will be in there somewhere.

Look at the instructions for the SCX-10 link kits. They will give the length of the stock link and 4 link setup. If you measure your rod ends you can get the eye to eye length from knowing the length of the metal link.
