Default NorZepol's JK Kit

Well, got a kit a while back, thanks RPP! It is mostly stock but that will change with time. As of now upgrades include; Vanquish OMF 1.9s w/ Crawler Innovations foams, Pitbulls and Rogue Elements Nuts/hubs, Holmes Hobbies Waterproof SC w/ HH Torquemaster Expert 35T motor, MIP driveshafts, Hand Bros. CMS Mount, 3Racing winch, all metal suspension links and a home made battery mount and fender wells.

Here's some general pics.

Here is a few interior picks. I actually cut out the "cloth" inserts and seatbelts to give a little different look by contrasting against the dull cote I applied to the interior. Also showing the Rogue Elements fuel cell insert.

Relocated the stock electronics box to the rear. It seems as though it was meant to install in this spot, just flipped the crosmember with the "x" and the box bolts right in, then trim the rear bumper mounts to clear. The end result actually looks like a gas tank from the bottom. Be sure to seal up the 2 holes in the bottom of the box

Decided to make a front battery mount until I can get the one I saw on RPP's site. First pic is the raw parts I made out of some scrap aluminum angle. I have not had a chance to see if the balance is going to affect performance since the battery is not centered, we'll see.

Looking good neighbor (Fresno).

Did you have to trim up anything inside the bumper to mount the winch?

Hello, neighbor no trimming of the bumper but did have to trim the plate the fairlead is connnected to due to that area of the bumper not being flat.

Thanks for the info. I plan on getting the KK kit and a TSS radiator or maybe a radiator out of a EXO to save a little weight. Thanks again.

Made a couple of additions;

First some DMG axle trusses, front and back.

This front truss gave me some issues as far as hooking up the panhard bar, so it will be trimmed off to resemble the rear

And some pics of the rear

And last for now (until my R2j sliders come) a BGR Fab bumper.

Here she is naked next to the stock bumper for comparison

Size: 53.4 KB

Here is a shot with the weight of the stock version

And the weight of the BGR

Name: Bumper 2 weight.jpg
Views: 853

Quite a bit heavier but a lot stronger
this bumper has some beautiful welds

And here she is all painted up

Size: 44.5 KB

Well that's it for now, I will be installing the bumper in the morning and I'll post some pics, also will post pics of the R2j sliders when they arrive later this week
