Default Wrangler Kit Build

Thought I'd share my new SCX10 kit build. I stole a lot of electronic parts from my Cherokee honcho. Eventually I'll rebuild the Cherokee.

Here it is completed and at the top of a pavement mountain.

I decided to cut the hardtop and remove the rear portion as I think it looks quite a bit better. I'm looking for some kind of netting material to drop over the back half.

And the guts:

I'm running a RC4WD 35t motor with AE-2 esc and I just got a castle bec that I have running the radio and servo. My next upgrade is to replace the 2s lipo with a 3s. Probably around 3000mah, my current 5000mah lasts forever.

I like your color choice. I agree about not putting the full top on the truck. I did mine with the front door glass only and a short roof.

Thanks 1beatjeep and raceeng18. The color is "Candy Blue" Pactra. I wasn't sure of it at first, but I like the color a lot now. I need to redo the top because I painted that in the same color but used a black backing color instead of white and it made look purple/black.

It's 2s 5000mah gens ace lipo I plasti-dipped to waterproof. Just ordered a 3s 2500mah battery, excited to see how it performs.
