Default wroncho burning up motors

I have a wroncho with 2.2 swampers and stock wraith electronics and for some reason it keeps roasting motors any input?

I think my motor is getting pushed into my spur from the nut holding the upper link any solutions?

The motor getting rubbed by your upper link shouldn't be a big deal. With those big heavy tiers you should gear way down. Try a 15t or 16t pinion. With the high 20/87 stock gear ratio the motor gets pretty hot already. Once you start adding weight/tires etc your motor will thank you when you gear it down.

The nut pushes the motor sideways into the spur so there is a lot off stress

My Wraith ate through cheap motors when geared 80/20 and crawling...Just too high. 87/14 was great. I'm running the same gearing in my SCX10 now. I could probably go up a little on the Pinion. So much torque it sound more like a power drill than a truck.

It will make a motor smoke and melt the wires together after 5 min on the pavement

If you remove the motor does it roll freely without any major binding?
