Default lobos new and improved honcho build page

ok so starting over. bought the damn thing drove the snot out of it 5000 mah battery i forget who makes the thing at the moment. running an adapter temporarily have deans connectors i have to solder on. waterproofed it so far so good no submersions ...yet. maybe later. installed new shocks from rc4wd. spark shocks 110mm aewsome does better than before and let me say no issues , no binding. just a bit flippy at speed. installed axial plate style front bumper and i have an aluminum front bumper mount on the way . just building as i go and improving slowly. prone to random purchases lol

and i am trimming the front bumper a little . and im going to add a little heavier shock oil in the shocks other than that im just looking for stuff to climb over lol i do live across the street from a forest preserve and a river. anybody in north-eastern illinois? more parts and pics to come

going to order cherokee body soon gonna use orange metallic paint its from pactra cherokee from proline obviously

Am i seeing things, or did you swap out the front bumper halfway through the picture progression? At the start i see the skid plates, but by the end they aren't there. I see you said you're going to trim the front bumper, did you trim the original or are you trimming a replacement?

I'm curious because i am looking at the different bumpers available for the scx10s and I'm trying to pick which one would be best for my zombie apocalypse build.

youre not seeing things i did the one on there currently is the axial plate style front bumper. and thats the one im trimming shorter. need to buy shackles too. got it from amainhobbies.com

Ya i was going to say that the plated one definitely is my favorite of the two, but i wasnt certain it was actually 2 different bumpers LOL.

ok so scrap previous ideas , i visited lhs and bought a hpi '73 bronco and some paint . redoing waterproof setupand last night i flipped the motor and trans around MIRRORED DERORRIM . ill post pics when im done . might order the dingo fender flares for the body but im gonna wait till its on the car to see how the wheels are under it. damn im excited.

aluminum front bumper mount came in yesterday missed delivery now i gotta trek my ass to the post office to pick it up which sucks cause well im at work all day

ook so here are the pictures of my new aluminum bumper mount and the new 73 bronco body (still has to be painted) and then some pictures of my honcho at some bmx jumps those jumps have been there for at least fifteen years good crawling around there gonna build a little crawler/trail track back there soon got some other parts on the way also

Those shocks look great. Some bead locks nicer tires and weight in the wheels should be on your list as well. Make a big difference
