Absolutely! I didn't expect such a response to this thread, so quickly, to be honest!

Sorry i know this is not relavent but If I wanted more torque out of the stock motor can I just lower my pinion? Great information BTW.

It won't actually change the rated torque of the motor but will give more low end pull. It will also slow the truck down. I've experimented with pinions on the stock motor using 16, 14, and 12 tooth pinions. I still wasn't happy. I ended up with a 35 turn motor and a 12 tooth pinion. More torque and a slower speed and it climbs well. It also lowered my motor and esc temps by a bunch.

I'll try the 12 t for now. You think 12t and 45t motor is a good combo?

Yes, that should give you a lot of torque and keep your operating temps in a good range. I'm going to try a 45 turn motor in a truck I'm building now and will stay with the 12 tooth pinion.

Not all of it. Just been compiling stuff as I have to look things up, and as I hear things here and there. Figured it would be worthwhile to someone, somewhere, somehow, someday :P
