Default I think i have trouble help please

Hey guys noobie here..Just bought a used scx10 ..when i turn the front wheels they are stiff but ONLY the front turns together....when i turn the rear wheels there is no resistence and spin freely ...what should i be looking at first?...thanx in advance

look in the rear differential! Something is either broken or missing inside! Are the driveshafts connected?

It sounds like it is time to take the rear axle apart to check it out. If you don't have a manual you can download them at the Axial site.
Axial Racing - instructions

While you have it apart I would also clean and grease the gears.

Let us know what you find.

Broken output on the transmission is my guess.

1st thing I'd check is the grub screws in the tailshafts

okay gang thank you VERY much ...gonna go check stuff out...but yes the driveshafts are connected
as is turns upto the gearbox when i spin them but zero resistance

turned out to be the grub screw where it screws onto the shaft on the transmission ...shoulda went for the obvious i guess...works well again...thanx gang
