Re: Bobbed Mojave on SCX10 Looks great, I like the paint and can appreciate the work you have done. |
Re: Bobbed Mojave on SCX10 This looks great, I love the paint as well. I don't know how hard it would be with that body but adding some wheel wells would make it look even better than it already does. |

Very nice. |
Re: Bobbed Mojave on SCX10 Great old school paint job! "thumbsup" |
Re: Bobbed Mojave on SCX10 I did not know that wheel wells were part of the kit and that is pretty expensive for them, I thought that it was something that you could/had to make. Please don't think I was bashing on it, your truck looks great! |
Re: Bobbed Mojave on SCX10 Great lookin paint scheme, nicely done! |
Re: Bobbed Mojave on SCX10 Time for an update. I've had this out several times and the paint shows it. It rode pretty tall and a bit too wide for scale, so it was time for mild update/rebuild. I recently tried brazing and enjoyed both the process and results so decided to add some nerf bars b/w the sliders and the bumper while I moved to a smaller offset hub and dropped the body mounting position. Here it is, a bit too tall and wide: http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3751/1...0af3c737_c.jpg IMG_1332 by ethernectar, on Flickr http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5492/1...b539e9ac_c.jpg IMG_1328 by ethernectar, on Flickr And here's some pics from the brazing update... http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5490/1...71ebe166_c.jpg Nerf_02 by ethernectar, on Flickr http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2860/1...3229f4f4_c.jpg NerfBars_05 by ethernectar, on Flickr http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2889/1...7e28d6c4_c.jpg NerfSliders by ethernectar, on Flickr http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7312/1...408b3842_c.jpg NerfFront by ethernectar, on Flickr Back bumper http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5474/1...e12bd1b6_c.jpg RearBumperFrame by ethernectar, on Flickr http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3751/1...76a41c6b_c.jpg RearBumper by ethernectar, on Flickr |
