I really like mine. went together with no problems, no leaks. I didn't notice a difference in ride height, though I would go with 103's if I had it to do again.

for me they work great. I love being able to tighten them up a bit for trail runs. I recommend using the 4 hole piston they come with, you can always adjust them plenty stiff, if you need.

I have the Aeration and Diaphram XD's and they did not increase ride height, I mean 3mm is very insignificant. The thing I did notice between the axial vs XD shocks is that the axials have some more travel vs the XDs. But have proven to be leak free and perform well. The stock springs are more of a medium stiffness and may prove stiff if you have a light rig.

I went with the 103's and I think they're perfect. I went to a slightly softer spring from Losi.

They are nice shocks, but look better on the Wraith. I think they are too big for a 1.9 scaler.

The 103's I have on my Wraith are pretty nice, don't leak at all and worked great at Axialfest.

I use the Traxxas T-Maxx 100mm OB CO's...
plastic bodied... but work well.

I also have a set of the Associated mfgr'd 100mm alloy CO's designed for the Tmaxx.
Prolly even better... but they're blue anodized.
and they're still mounted to my never ran T-Maxx

ever spent a small fortune upgrading a RC truck...
and then never run that ? doh

why would you want to lift it further ?

prolly be more beneficial to mount those "lift plates" upside down
and actually raise the shocks upper mount positions.
Thus lowering or keep the COG down lower.

Wheel travel is what you want to gain...
not lift... at least IMO

Hope u didn't buy the eBay "Y" lift. It stinks. U move one hole down from stock and it puts the drive lines in a bind. 104mm shocks, way to much. 90mm or 100mm. 100mm may push it.

Sent from my hotel.

I just ordered my XD piggyback 103mm yesterday through RPP. I actually have a Level3 RC lift kit installed on my truck but I am only using the first hole on the "Y" tree to give me 1/8 inch of ride height so I dont rub on my fenders of my Pro-Line F-250 body. It gives me a bit more approach angle with my Pro-Line bumper as well. I have no issues with my drive shafts either. I plan on experimenting with the lift kit and the shocks to see what I come up with.
