| First Scaler/Crawler....Dingo
So I've only been into RC's for just under a year now. After having a few faster trucks and a couple of micro's I went ahead and bought a Dingo kit just after X-mas. It was a mighty slow build. I finished it up a couple of weeks ago. I really enjoy the SCX-10....not just driving it but putting the whole thing together. The part that took the longest was coming up with ideas on paint scheme and what i wanted it to look like overall. I still have a few things I want to add or change. But for the most part this is it. The shovel, fire extinguisher, roof rack and all the accent pieces I made from styrene. Now I'm in the process of making a small trail/crawler course in my backyard. I like what you did with the headlights and wheels. Can you tell me how you painted your wheels? |

Thanks! I just painted the wheels with the same Lexan paint that I used for the interior and all the accent pieces. Make sure you make up your mind about painting them BEFORE you glue them to the tires. I made that mistake so I had to mask off the tires when I painted the wheels. Didn't come out too bad for my first paint job though. |
