| link lengths ......curious
so ive been messing around with links and making my own etc. my question is for the front. What lengths are you guys running top and bottom? for a 4 link setup! im curious because i seem to have a little trouble on drive line angle. When i make the top ones a bit longer then the angle gets better but the the knuckles rotate further forward and the steering is a bit wierd. Any input would be great and what lengths you are running so i can duplicate. Thanks in advance

I just picked up the vanquish titanium set-up for the scx10 currie axles, I'm still using the stock axles that came with he axial jeep kit. The links did the same thing t o my rig, clocked the axles forward. They also extended the wheel base about a 1/4 in or so. It's not a lot of info but its a direction. Good luck. |

Usually the clockable c hubs help with this issue. You improve the driveline angle which rotates your steering forwards and then the clockable c hubs rotates just the steering back. I wish you could clock the more than the 8 degrees. I'm sure there is a mod for that. Since running wraith axles on my honcho I just drill new holes for the c hub screws and rotate to the desired degree. |

very cool thank you for the lengths. I made new ones last night for the front but did same length top and bottom. being that the mounting point isnt the same top and bottom it looks to be a great drive angle. I will hopefully try it with the steering and all tonight

I noticed some steering problems with my 4 mm difference in links length (8 mm is default). Wheels turning down. Axial C Hubs (AX30495) fixed that.
