got this in a trade. in bag in a bunch of parts.. anyone have some pics of the inside? not sure how they go together.. thanks

Doubt people took photo of transmission assembly.
Post a pic with parts numbered. Users who have it can write you a sequence parts go.

My opinion: Sell it. But, I've never had any luck with rc4wd trannys of any kind. Just mo.

I had no problems with mines. I ran mines several years in my comp crawler than my scalers. Don't run it with a drag brake.

I have one. I really like it but you have to change how you drive cause of no slipper clutch.

I think if would be great for switching up from rock crawling...
to trail riding.

No I don't have a build thread. I really like the r2's performance compared to stock on the rocks. Anyway I was just saying that without a slipper to soak up the abuse you're going to have a hardware failure somewhere else. Basicly if you have no planned "failure" point you could be asking for trouble depending on you're driving style. In my current set up I kept the drive shafts stock, so when the day comes (and it will) i'll end up twisting them up instead of damaging some internal parts

What is the issue with the drag brake? I have been planning to put a two speed in my Honcho and haven't heard this before.
