Default Finally gone to a four link setup...

The three link got quite worn and was popping out of the mount at the front. Other than that I had liked the three link way.

And needing a tow....

did you set up a Pan Hard Bar?
I did not find it necessary on my SCX10 but it was really needed on my AR60/SCX10.

No I did not need a panhard. Works fine. :-)

As for the +/-....I'm not to sure really. There will be less flex now as the single pivot point has gone. That's a definite negative IMO.

I disagree. I get more flex out of my 4-link. Not sure exactly why but, I believe it allows the axle to move further in both directions, on both sides. If that makes sense. I did have to remove a cross-member and clearance the frame a bit to allow the servo room to move, though.

huh !?

that'd be wrong

If you want better articulation...
the 4 link is a must.

But don't stop there...
better shocks will improve that even more so.

I just installed some 100 mm shocks, over bore, Losi soft springs.
These were shocks that were fitted to my T-Maxx
My junk is now articulates with a single tire near 5" off the ground.

a must do modification IMO.

But there's tons more to do

If that be so I stand corrected. Agree on the shocks though. I have some 130mm I throw on from my Wraith sometimes and the flex is insane. :-)

Thanks. Hopefully she's out for her maiden four link voyage after work.

What length are your top links, I love 4 link three link just don't have the flex. And better shocks help a lot , I'm using losi night crawler shocks soft springs. It rides a little high but I love the articulation. I have an extra truss but don't know what length to use on the uppers.

This is the first time I have ever heard someone suggest this. Mine was nothing but better after going 4-link, just like my full scale rigs.

I guess I'm wrong and I'm not fussed enough to do any testing. Just in my head a single pivot point would seem to give better angles.
